As a RATIO Principal and Director of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design +Planning, John oversees the design process and management of the project team. Skilled at building consensus within diverse user groups, he uses his creative energy and technical expertise to help clients define and achieve their goals.
Kelly Conolly leads the Sam Schwartz Chicago office traffic and parking group and has thirteen years of experience in the traffic engineering and transportation planning fields since graduating from the University of Illinois. She is a licensed professional engineer that brings a creative yet buildable approach to planning and designing transportation solutions. She has managed or assisted in the completion of hundreds of transportation plans in her career, which always incorporate pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users in a cohesive plan that completes the transportation and parking demand management discussion.
In her 15 year career, Lesley has been responsible for project management, project design and direction, client contact and public process facilitation on a variety of architecture and planning projects. She has experience in a full range of architecture and planning project types and scales. Her professional training and practice include both domestic and international experience with an emphasis on public engagement, liveable communities and sustainable design.
Having worked in both the public and private sectors, Daniel brings a unique perspective to RATIO’s urban planning team. He is experienced with directing community outreach, drafting policies and recommendations, producing planning graphics, visualizations, and documentation, and managing GIS datasets and analysis.
Sean Widener is a Vice President with Clark Dietz, Inc. where he serves as the Area Manager in their Champaign office. He has expertise in traffic engineering, intersection and signal design, capacity analysis, multi-modal analysis and highway design. Mr. Widener is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois and Indiana as well as a registered Professional Traffic Operations Engineer.
